The Patriotic Shop on Saturday was in charge of Misses Speivs and Sathorloy. The compel it ions were won as follows; Cake (weight 31h. loz.), Mrs Fuller; sweets (No. 8), Mrs Gibbs; and weight of sheep, 4(>lhs., guessed by Messrs If, Sharp, C, Rand, Neilson, and T. Lee. Gifts are acknowledged • with thanks from the following:-—Mes-dames A. Baker, Renton, Harvey, Mandl, J. Robinson, F. Robinson, A. S. Easton, Woodroofe, C. Symons, H. Thynne, L. Fnrrie, D. Purcell, Raupi, Woods, Harper, and L. de Ridder, Miss Saihevley, and Messrs R. A. Speirs, W. Barber, Raine, A. Ross, T. Harper, Bock and H. Diamond. Next Saturday Mr-*C. F.
