FOOTBALL.
A match was played bn the racecourse yesterday afternoon between teams representing the local State School and the “Old Boys” of the school. The result of the game was a win for “Old Boys” by 12 points to nil. Tile following will represent the combined juniors against “Old-tim-ers,” on the racecourse on Saturday next: —Taylor, Toke, J. McGregor, Kruse, Sevan, Baker, Morgan, Lawton, Cole, McKnight, Feehan, Royal, Sanderson, Small, Carter. Emergencies : Burr, Walbntton, MeEwen. The following team will represent “Old-timers” against Foxton juniors on the racecourse on Saturday:— Reeves, C. Renata, Shammy, E. Ball, Room, J. Hoppy, J. Dunn. O’Donoghue, Taylor, Reuben, F. Robinson, Matthews, Whihioy, Reihana,. Desmond. Emergencies; Warner, W. Robinson.
