The Patriotic Shop on Saturday was in charge l of Mesdanies .las. Robinson and Green. Good business was done, the nett takings totalling £33 (Is Id. Competitions wore won by the following: —Baskets, Mrs Freeman (Ist.), Mr Fraser (2nd,), Mrs Harvey (3rd.) ; night dress, Miss A. Andresen; supper-cloth, Mrs Davies; jacket and cap, Mrs E. M. Davey; cap and slippers, Thursa Healey; umbrella and scarf, Mrs *Suttie (Ist.), L. E. Symonds (2nd.); sheep weight guessing competition (correct weight G7lbs.), Messrs Wallbutton, A. E. Green, C. Spring, J. Campbell; dinner won by H. M. Shera ; rooster, W. Dunn ; men’s outfit, H. Thynne. Gifts arc acknowledged from the following:—Mr J. H.
