BOY FATALLY SHOT.
Auckland, August IS. A buy, twelve years of age, named Leonard Hamilton Cavanagli, was fatally shot at Otalmhn yesterday afternoon. It is stated that cloceiised, with his younger brother, met three other boys, two carrying guns. One of these, aged (i ft eon, put a gitn lo ids shoulder and pointed it at deceased. The gun went off, a full charge of shot lodging in Cavanagh’s body near the heart. Death was instantaneous.
