BOY ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.

Christchurch, .Inly 23. Albert .Jenkins, aged 7, was accidentally shot dead by his brother, aged 15, at Wanuku this afternoon. The elder hoy was standing at the hack door of the home with a loaded gun, intending to shoot sparrows. In turning round, the trigger caught a button on his jacket, and the gun was discharged, the shot striking his brother, who was tiv.e foot away, in the face. Death was instantaneous.
