Sir. —In reply In E. G. Martin, I would like to ask him where he got his authority from to criticise the local Labour Parly’s affairs in the press. He asks who gave authority for inviting Mrs Gill and P. T. Robinson to the meeting, and I ask him who gave authority for him to rush into print with the branch’s private affairs. No, Mr Martin, it doesn’t do to tell you everything, particularly when it is a case of running with the hare and hunting with the hounds. —I am, etc., ONE WHO KNOWS.
