ENTERTAINMENTS.

BEE TOY CHCXG COMPANY.-* Much interest has been aroused by the announcement of Lee Toy Chung, to appear in the Town Hall, .Eoxfon, on Tuesday evening next, lie comes direct from the leading theatres of the world, and brings with him a vast reputation, and is spoken of as a past-master of, misticisms and necromancy. The manner in which he presents Ids different illusions, is not only pleasing at the time, Imt is extremely baffling, and gives one food for thought for some time to come. You watch him closely, and although he perforins his different wonders right before your Very eyes, right, over the footlights, and sometimes right amongst, .the audience, it is impossible for you to see how it is done. Lee Toy Cluing has a great sense of humour, and the pleasing manner in which he sometimes allows his audience to believe that they see how a trick is performed, and then to prove that they were mistaken, is very amusing.. The artists that are to appear in support of Lee Toy Chung are spoken of in glowing terms by the different newspapers, and are described as t.opnotellers in their own particular line. Percy Carr has a distinct style of his own, and the droll manner in which he renders his different absurdities always creates screams of laughter. Little George the ventrihxjuial comedian, is a real “button-burster.” Mr Oswald is a powerful actor, and holds his audience in breathless excitement. D’Almaine is described as being a show in himself. A packed house is expected on Tuesday night, so we advise intending patrons desiring a good seat to hook at once. Popular prices will be charged. Seats may be booked at Mrs Teviotdale’s.
