The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day:— * The imliealions are for prevailing southerly winds strong lo gale, with a westerly tendency. The weather is likely to he elondy to overcast, and will probably become colder. Rain probable. Barometer rising. Sea very heavy, tides high.
