An elderly man named Charles Baker, a lislmrman, has been missing from 4he French Bass for Severn I days. Tie left Nelson on June 22nd to return to D'Urvilie Island, and has not been seen sinee, hut his launch was found washed up at Okuri Point. Baker was a single man, and lived alone on a small island off D'Urville Island. He t'ortnerlv lived al Piet on.
