ELDERLY WOMAN’S DEATH
Oamaru, July 1
An elderly woman named Mrs Barry, whose husband is in the North Island, was found dead this morning at her home, where she had been living alone. She had not been seen since Tuesday last. The police entered the house. Deceased apparently bled to death through a burst varicose vein. The indications are that she had been dead for several-days.
