PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Patriotic Shop on Saturday last was in charge of Mrs F. Procter and Miss L. Woodroofe. The takings amounted to £l3 Os 2d. The competitions were won by the following:—Mrs Procter senr. (turkey), Mesdam.es F. Robinson and W. Robson (dinner); sheep (39 lbs.), Mrs A. King, Mrs Boyle, and Mrs Bryant. Gifts are acknowledged from the following:—Miss A. Ross, Mrs Davis, Mrs Gibbs, Mrs T. Mitchell, Mrs T. Brewer, Mrs C. Robinson, Mr Chung Wall, Mrs T, Rimmer, Mrs A. S. Easton, Mrs J. Kewth, Mrs Francis, Mrs James Robinson, Mrs John Robinson, Mrs Hussey, Mrs F. Robinson, Mrs Nyc, Mrs Rear, Mrs Green, Mrs M. Newth, Mrs Henricksen, Miss Woodroofe, Min C. Symons, Mrs B. Purcell, Mrs S. Easton, Mrs P. .Ret-, ter, Mrs Renton, Mrs Woodroofe, Mrs Saps ford, Mr J. Goldcr, Airs A. King. Air Peter Robinson rendered valuable assistance, Next Saturday the simp will lie in (*liurge of Airs S. Easton and Airs Freeman. Amaigst the eompetitions will be one for sponge sandwiches withnui icing, to he judged by Air Perron a, and for wliieh Uinl and second pri,;es will be awarded, consisting of If nlton plate and a vase, which will be on view in Air Healey's window. The entrance for this compel him!. will ho (id. The cakes are to become the property of the simp. There will also he a ’sheep-guessing competition.
