FOOTBALL.

A general meeting was held in Mr Perrean’s rooms last night. Mr E. Ho wan was in the chair. Various matters in connection with the .Perreau ('up were discussed. Seven games will be played this year, the team winning four games to hold the enp for the year. To be won outright, Hie enp must be won two years in succession, or three years at intervals. The following commitlee Avas appointed to control the enp games: Messrs E. Howan, J. Desmond, D. McEwen, F. Petrie, and W. Sexton. Messrs E. Howan and J. Desmond were appointed as selectors for a representative team to play outside games. Donations were received as follow: Mr F. Robinson £l, and Mr Chas. Robinson 15s, and to these gentlemen the thanks of the Club is due.

A cup match will be played on the racecourse on Saturday next, 15th in.st., at 2.45 p.m. 'The i'olloAving will represent Aaviihou against Crusaders on Saturday next: —Mcßrearty (2), McGregor j(2), Carter, Hakaria, O’Reilly, Feehan, Burr, Johnson, Baker, Robertson, Langley, McKnight, K. Hirini. Emergency: McEwen.

’ Crusaders’ team will be as folloavs : Lawton, Robinson, Thompson, Cole, Morgan, Wajbutton, Small, Sanderson, Lenihan, John McGregor, Hartley, Baker, King, Taylor, McPherson. Emergency: Calder.
