PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Patriotic Shop was in charge o£ Mrs Chas, Robinson on Saturday last, and good business was done, the nett takings amounting to £lB Os Bd. Competitions were won by the following:—Mrs Pratt (petticoat), Miss Lumsden (night dress), Mrs Baker (cake). The weight of the sheep was 561b5., and, was won by the following: K, Seolly, R. Haydock, D. Elwood, Mrs Barratt, W. Wallbutton, Mrs McCarthy, W. Neville, R. Burnett, A. Morgan, J. Gupwell. Gifts are acknowledged from the following:—Mrs John Robinson, Mrs James Robinson, Mrs Green, Mrs Ingle, Mr J. Robinson, Mrs Barr, Mrs Hawke, Mrs Harvey, Mrs Healey, Mrs Woodroofe, a Friend, Mrs Frankland, Mrs Walls, Mrs A. S. Easton, Mrs Purrie, Mrs Hornblow, Mrs A. King, Mrs A. Ross, Miss Speirs, Mrs Kellow, Mrs Hcnricksen, Mrs C. Symons, Mr D. Purcell, Mrs Rough, Mr Green, Mrs Pigott, Mrs A. Harper, Mrs T. Harper.
Next Saturday the shop will be in charge of Mesdames J. Robinson and Harvey. A dinner competition will be among the competitions.
