FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
REPORTS ADOPTED
The following reports were adopted at last night's meeting of the Borough Council: —
TOWN CLERIC
The Road Stall has been engaged on the following works since the last nieeting of the Council, viz., cleaning drains, me!ailing Moutoa road, and general maintenance work, and will he engaged for the ensuing month on the same work.
PUBLIC WORKS,
Meeting held on June Bth. Present: The Mayor and Crs Coley, Henderson and Thompson. It was resolved that the formation of Reeve Street, as executed by Mr 11. Behrent be passed, being in accordance with his contract for same. TOWN HALL.
Meeting held on June Bth. Present : The Mayor and Crs Kempster, Walker and Hannah. The Committee recopimended that the scale of charges of tile Coronation Town Hall be amended as follows: Opera, dramatic and concert companies, charging 3s for dress circle, £4 5s Od first night, and £3 second night; ditto, charging 4s for dress circle, £5 and £4; ditto, charging 5s for dress circle, £6 and £5 5s Od; local concerts, up to 11 p.m., £2 10s Od; socials with supper-room, up to 11 p.m., £2 17s 6d; halls or socials or dances, up to 2 a.m., £4, after 2 n.m., 10s extra per hour or part of hour; bazaars, day and night, up to 11 o’clock, £4 first night, £3 10s Od second night; all other charges to remain as per schedule.
That the Council obtain an estimate of the cost of repairing the iron roof above cloak rooms in main hall, so as to render same watertight.
