The middle-aged bushman, John Robertson, who was convicted at the Wanganui Supreme Court of manslaughter, arising out of the death of Peter Larsen, at Karioi on February 24th, was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment and to seven years’ reformative treatment to follow at (he expiration of the term of imprisonment.
