RED JERSEY APPEAL.

' The Patriotic Shop next Saturday will be in charge of Mrs Gibbs and Miss Speirs, and the takings will be handed over to the Red Jersey appeal funds. We cannot too strongly urge this appeal upon the local pxxblic. Though there have been many requests for vaxdoxxs patriotic purposes, the Red Jersey fund, which is applied to lighten the lot of our fighting men and wounded soldiers, stands second to none. We feel sure that Foxton will respond liberally to this fund. Those in charge of the shop will be pleased to receive gifts for sale.
