HYDRO-ELECTRIC LEAGUE.
Wellington Last Night. At a meeting of the council of the Wellington Central Chamber of Commerce, it Avas decided that the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce be conferml-Avith, with a view to forming a Hydro-electric League to consist of delegates from all the interested bodies, for the purpose of actively urging the commencement of the primary works of the scheme to supply electricity by water-poAver to Wellington District. It Avas also decided (o suggest that a conference to held at Palmerston North during the Winter Show next month.
