An inquest was held tu-day on -lames Knowles, \vli<» was found dead yesterday. The verdict was death from heart failure. Knowles was a returned soldier, who had several awards ;md decorations from the Koval Humans Society, in||luding the gold medal, the highest award given for life saving. He rescued six persons from drowning on different occasions at Napier,
