FOOTBALL.

A friendly match was played between the Awahou and Crusaders on Saturday last, and resulted in a win for Awahou 4 by sto nil. The game was evenly contested throughout, and most of the play was confined to the forwards. Near the end of the first spell Robertson secured an opening, and scored under the posts. McEwen converted. There was no score in.the second spell, though the Crusaders held the advantage. Mr W. Neville had control of the game.
