OBITUARY.

MARGARET BUGLASS—AGED 76 YEARS. The death took place at Palmerston North yesterday of Mrs Margaret Buglass, aged 76 years. The deceased was on a visit to her niece, Mrs Knowles, and contracted an attack of bronchitis, to which she succumbed. Deceased was born at Berwickshire, Scotland, and after her marriage, settled in Edinburgh, where she brought up a family of three sons and two daughters. About two years after the death of her husband, in company with her family, she came to New Zealand, about sixteen years ago. For about eight years she carried on a general store in conjunction with her two daughters, at Rangiotu, after which she took up her residence with her son, James, at Fox torn The late Mrs Buglass was a sterling Christian character, a devoted mother, and held in high esteem by all honoured with her friendship. She was a member of the local Presbyterian Church, in which she took a keen and loyal interest. Her sons are James (at present serving the Imperial military authorities at Bar-row-on-Furness), George (a member of the 34th Reinforcements in France), and John (farming at Linton), Her two daughters are Mrs P. Rogel (Ohaknne), and Mrs T. Newman (Owhanga). We join in common with residents of Foxton in extending our sympathy to the family. The interment ' will take place at the Terrace End cemetery to-morrow afternoon.
