Tho scholars were assembled in the spacious quadrangle, the Senior Cadets lining the outside of the square, and all facing the flag. He made touching reference to ex-scholars who had participated in the historic landing, making special reference to the late Sergt. Alex. Gray, M.M. Master H. Burr recited Kipling’s “Recessional” very nicely. The flag was then saluted, and the following declaration made by all the scholars:; — I love God and my country, I honour the flag, I will serve the * King and cheerfully obey my parents, my teachers and the laws of the land.
