Tlie preliminary arrangements in preparation for the drafling of regulations for the operation of the National Service clause of the Finance Act will be made this week, slates the Prime Minister 1 . Mr Massey says that regulations will ho probably gazetted and operated during the recess, but before this is done representatives of employers and workers will have adequate op* port unity to assist in the shaping of regulations. It is the Government’s wish, as Ministers explained in the House of Representatives, to give every facility for (he making of satisfactory national service plans.
