ALL SAINTS’ LADIES’ GUILD.
The annual meeting of the Ladies’ Guild in connection with All Saints’ Church was held on Thursday afternoon. The balance-sheet showed that the Guild had been instrumental in raising and forwarding to the churchwardens the splendid sum of £209 18s Id, in addition to providing for the cleaning of the church. A small balance is left in hand to begin the year. The vicar thanked the ladies on behalf of the church for the work they had done, Mrs A. S. Easton was re-elected president, and Mrs J. Barber treasurer. The Guild starts its meetings again on'Tuesday next, at 2 p.m.
