MANGAHAO ELECTRIC SUPPLY.
.CONFERENCE AND VISIT TO. HEADWORKS. At last night’s Borough Council meeting a letter was read from the Palmerston N. Chamber of Copimerce, stating it had been decided to organise a visit to Mangahao of delegates from local bodies interested and to hold a conference at the proposed headworks on Wednesday, 24th inst. Delegates will leave Palmerston at 7.30 a.m., and Shannon at 8.30 a.m. The journey from Shannon to the proposed headworks will occupy only two hours at the outside, and there wall be ample time to inspect the locality, hold a conference, and allow delegates to get back to their homes in the day. It was unanimously agreed that the Mayor be the Council's delegate at the conference.
