ST. PATRICK'S CONCERT.

TOWN HALL, TO-NIGHT.

The alround excellence and versatility of the concert programme to be submitted to the pubj|c in the Town Hall to-night should a large audience. The promoters have spared neither expense or trouble in securing the best talent available. In this connection the services of Mr F. G. Bourke, of Auckland, the “John McCormick of New Zealand,” has been secured, and his items alone should prove a sufficient attraction. In the opinion of those who have heard Mr Bourke and the famous McCormack in the same songs, they declare honours are even. Miss Teresa McEnroe, ’ the talented Wellington vocalist, will contribute several items. Miss Hanlon, of Palmerston N., who has previously appeared before a Foxton audience, is a popular singer, also Miss Kearns, of Palmerston N. Lance-Corporal W. B. Kcaney will supply the comic element. Instrumental items will be contributed by Mrs Butler’s Shannon Orchestra, while the best local talent will also be heard. The Irish jig will be danced by Convent pupils. Taking the programme as a whole, a feast of good things is provided for lovers of good music. The prices of admission arc 2s and Is. There are no reserved seats, and the first item will he at 8 o’clock sharp.
