OROUA DOWNS GALA DAY.
PATRIOTIC SPORTS. The Oroua Downs third annual patriotic sports gathering will, take place on Mr Hammond’s grounds on March 27th. There will be a number of horse events, including open and maiden hunters’ competitions. Valuable trophies will be awarded in all events, and keen competition will result. Foot races for young and old will be provided. In the evening a dance will be held in the hall.
