MR. J. M’COMBS, M.P.
PETITION OF BANKRUPTCY FILED AGAINST HIM. Christchurch, March 9. A petition that J. McCombs, M.P., be adjudged a bankrupt has been filed in the Supreme Court. The petitioning creditors are Kincaid’s, Ltd., and Bowron Bros., Ltd., and the ground of the -petition is that McCombs has committed an available act of bankruptcy, a distress warrant having been executed on him and returned “nulla bona.”
