ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER.
A YOUNG MAN ARRESTED. Gore, Yesterday. Yesterday afternoon, Percy George Shave, a clerk, at Gore, aged seventeen, was arrested on a charge of manslaughter for causing the death of Robert Timmis Coomer on 22nd December, 1017. Coomer, who was 73 years of age, was a well-known retired farmer and dredge owner. He was knocked down by a car driven by Shave, death subsequently ensuing. Accused was brought before Mr Young, S;M., and remanded, bail being allowed in £IOO and one surety of £IOO.
