CALLED UP FOR SERVICE.
DISTRICT NAMES. A Gazette Extraordinary was issued yesterday, giving the names of about 1,400 men of the First Division of the Expeditionary Force Reserve who are required to report v for military service and who, for the purposes of the Act, are deemed to have been selected by lot. The list contains the names of men of the First Division who have recently come of age, new arrivals in the Dominion, and men who are required after special inquiries have been made. The Second Division list consists ■ of those whose status has been the subject of inquiry, those who have previously been placed in the wrong class, and a large number of new arrivals. The following district names appear in the list : FIRST DIVISION. Buckman, H. (J., blacksmith, Shannon. Cooper, W,, carter, Foxton. Hook, C. E., farm hand, Shannon. SECOND DIMS lON. Alve, C. AV., dairy farmer, Rungiotu. Lane, F. S., dairy farmer, Oroua Downs.
