PATRIOTIC SHOP.
Saturday last was Men’s Day at the shop, when Messrs J. Chrystall, W. E. Barber, F. Crawley, J. Claris, ami the Hey, W. Haine were in charge. They report doing good business, and gratefully acknowledge gifts from: —Mcsdames C. H. Symons, A. Ross, AVoodroofe, A. S. Easton, Preston, J. H. Robinson, F. Robinson, Thynne, Raine, John Robinson, A. E. Green, 6. Rough, Speirs, M. Newth, S. Easton, Gower, Messrs A. Fraser, F. Crawley, J. Chrystall, M. Perreau, H, Thynne, R. Rand senr., A. Ross, W. Ross, G. G. Gower, and Harper. The competitions were Avon by the following:—Bag of sugar, Mrs F. Robinson, Avinning number SJ. ■Bank Note, Miss L. Robinsop pud Mr McKnight, who placed the numbers nearest to the correct order. Mr Lumsden Avon the sheep. Those in charge thank Sirs Henricksen for the gift of afternoon tea. Mesdamea J, H.
