A MORIBUND CLUB.
The affairs of ihe Foxton Tennis Club .have been allowed to drift to such an extent that the trustees are now (*alled upon to straighten matters out, and either wind up the elub or galvanise it into life. Two seasons have passed and no club meeting has befen held, the courts have been neglected, and we are informed that horses have been allowed to trespass on the section; interest on mortgage lias not been paid for the past two years, and there are other liabilities in respect to unpaid rates, etc. The assets of the club consist of a valuable section, asphalt 'courts, and pavilion. The liabilities are approximately £25. The 'trustees are" Messrs Betty, Clemett, Fraser, Stiles, Hornblow and Akx. Boss. A meeting of the trustees will be hold this week, and a public meeting of all those interested in resuscitating the club and putting it in a sound position will be held next yeek.
