PATRIOTIC SHOP.

On Saturday last Mrs A. J. Gibbs and Miss Olive Nye had charge of the Patriotic Shop, and had a successful day. Gifts are acknowledged from Mesdames A. Ross, Hussey, W. Nye, P. Robinson, A. E. Green, Jas. Robinson, King, A. S. Easton, Healey, Adams, G. Woodroofe, Rough, John Robinson, Misses Thynne, Symons,* Burr, Speirs, Messrs Chrystall, Rand senr., Level t, Thompson, Bock, C. F. Spiers, and Golder. On Saturday next Mrs Alex. Ross and Miss Signal will lake the shop, and proceeds will be devoted to the Wounded Soldiers’ Fund.

A guessing competition for a lamb will be held.

On Saturday, the 2nd February, the men will take charge of the shop, and hope to introduce some novelties.
