PATRIOTIC SHOP.
On Saturday last Airs Arthur Harper, assisted by Airs Wainwrigbt, bad charge of the Patriotic Shop, and had a successful da}'. Gifts are acknowledged from: Alesdames Bock, Spring, H. Thynne, AV. Signal, Woodroofe, Prank Robinson, Rainc, Gibbs, Speirs, A. S. Easton, Newth, AV. Boss, Dimmer, Alurdoch, Ilenrickson, King, A. L. Harper, AA’aimvrigbt, Kaikes, Chas. Robinson, Aliss Collins, Messrs L, Smith, Chung Wall, C. F. Spiers, Stiles and Alathcson, and the Patritoie Concert.
The work-basket was won by Miss Collins, and the camisole by Miss B. Lumsden, while Mr Lumsden won the salt-cellars with 187, the bottle containing 185 beans. In the absence of Misses Moxham and Price, Mesdames Gibbs and Jennings have kindly consented to put their date forward, and will take charge on Saturday next. The proceeds will be devoted to the Wounded Soldiers’ Fund, and gifts of any description will be appreciated..
