To start at 12.50 p.m. Distance, 6 furlongs. 3. FOXTON .CUP (Open), of 300 sovs. second horse to receive 30 sovs. and third horse 20 sovs. from the stakes. Nomination 20s, acceptance 80s. To start at 1.40 p.m. Distance, If miles. 4. MAIDEN HACK, of 130 sovs,, second horse to receive 20 sovs. and third horse 10 sovs. from the stakes. NOMINATIONS for all events (including Maiden Hack) close on FRIDAY, January 4th, 1918, at 9 p.m, WEIGHTS will he declared on or about January 9tb. ACCEPTANCES close bn TUESDAY, January 15th, 1918, at 9 p.m.
RULES AND REGULATIONS. All Entries MUST he sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Box 13, Foxton, with the name and age at the time of entry, name of owner,
pedigree, and the registered'colour's of the owner* Entries by telegram MUSTbe confirmed in writing by the next mail. All colours must be registered, or a fine of 1 sov. will be imposed for every i start. All- Races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for the declaration of nominations, weights, dr acceptances, as they may think fit. When nominating, the NAME and ADDRESS of the Trainer MUST be given; also the NAME or ASSUMED NAME of the Owner, with his ADDRESS. No horse will be weighed out for any, race whose Entry Pees are unpaid. ,
