CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor). Sir. —1 was very pleased to read your article in reference to the conduct of a number of boys who frequent the river bank for bathing purposes. The language of some of these youngsters, mere children, is very foul. 1 think something should be done to encourage not only boys, but girls, to learn to swim, and if the Borough Council would take the matter up I am sure the public would willingly assist. Such a rendezvous would then be properly controlled. There is a dangerous current nearby where the boys swim, and if something is not done to keep the venturesome within limits by a protecting fence, another fatality may occur before the summer ends. I am, etc.,
CITIZEN.
