JIIGII COMMISSIONER’S IMPORT, The High Commissioner cabled as follows at noon yesterday The Manila market continues weak. Low grades are scarce, probably in eonsequence of alteration in method of production owing to the high price obtainable for high grades in America. The output for the two weeks ending Ist December was 44,000 bales. The New Zealand market remains as last reported, Business for forward hemp shipment is 'difficult on account of freight. St. Helena has been sold at auction this week as high as £B9 ss.
