The Borough Treasurer reported at last night's Council meeting as follows: The following amounts were received during the month of November, and placed to credit as under: —District fund account £504 15s 6d, cemetery account, £2. The balances of the various funds at the Bank of New Zea. ..d as at the 30th November, 1917, were as follows: District fund account, debit, £135 Is lid; cemetery account, credit, £ll Is 8d; and the ledger balances at the same date as follow': Cemetery £ll Is Bd, hospital and charitable aid £O9 3s Id, library £2B 3s 2d, reserves £ls Is 7d, sanitation £245 2s Bd, Town Hall £ll 15s Bd, Whirokino bridge loan £36 Os Id, Whirokino bridge additions loan £3O 3s lOd, roads and streets loan £37 .31s Bd, roads and streets No. 2 loan £l9 7s 9d, Shannon bridge loan £l9 16s, council chamber and public library £65 17s 2d, gasworks loan £27 8s lid, Beach road loan £ls 3s 4d, all in credit, a total of £O3l 16s 7d. The accounts at debit were: Imprest cash £lO, general £77 14s sd, and gas works £668 2s sd, total £755 16s lOd. SUMMARY. A/es in credit 631 10 7 Bank bal. D.F.
