On the local green to-morrow afternoon two challenge games will be played—one for the Kiuniburgh Feathers, the challengers being a rinkfrom the Shannon Club, and tho other for the Toms (Manawatu) Ferns, the following rink from Levin, Hams, Thompson, Porteous, Pollock (s), being the challengers.

A rink from the Foxton Club will visit Shannon the same afternoon to play the holders of the Gold Stars.

On the Palraerston.green on Saturday a match for tho Dixon Cup was played, the challenging rink from Shannon being defeated by 37 points to 18. The next match will be played on Saturday against a rink from Levin.
