On Wednesday afternoon next, a rink from Shannon will visit Foxton to play the Holders of the Kinniburgh Feathers. The holders are: Large, Stewart, Nye, Rimmer (s). On the same day Woods will take a team to Shannon to play for the Gold Stars at present held by a Shannon rink, A' Shannon rink—Bilderbeek, Galland, Butt, Stephenson, (s) —is playing the holders of the Dixon Cup at Palmerston North to-day.

The following ladder games were played on the local green yesterday afternoon: —F. D. Whibley 15 beat Rimmer 13, and Large 17 beat Stewart 14. -
