Sir Lcander Starr Jameson, president of the British South Africa Company, exM.P. for Capetown (Harbour Division), and Premier of Cape Colony from 1904 to 1908, is best known to fame as the leader of the famous “Jameson Raid” at the end of December, 1895, one of the most important incidents preliminary to the great Boer War.]
