PAPAROA MINERS ON STRIKE.
The Prime Minister (Right Hon. W. F. Massey) informed a Post reporter yesterday that he had been advised that the Paparoa coal miners, numbering about 100, were out on strike. Enquiries made by a reporter show that the trouble is due to the refusal of the men’s demands for higher wages.
