The deaih occurred at It aimerston on Tuesday of Air Thomas Lawric. who has been a resident of Palmerston during the past twelve years. For many -years Air Lawrie was in bu-iiic-. on the West Coast, and on retirin';- came to reside in Palmerston, where hr- genial personality gaim ■! him general popularity. The hoi cased gentleman is survived by a widow, two daughters (Airs 0. BeilVi-i and Airs L. FeiiYri, of Palmers ton), and throe sons.
