Wellington, OH. 5, At a meeting of the creditors of A. AY. Schaef, avlio recently had judgment given against him in the ease in Avhieh damages Avere claimed by two young women whom lie bad slandered, held to-day, the bankrupt declined to give any information as to Avhat he had done Avith Hie money he had dniAvn out of the Bank during the last few Aveoks. He said he realised he ran a risk of going to gaol, but Avas prepared lo take it out, and vehemently declared that he Avas the subject of conspiracy. He admitted he bad obtained £1,500 above the mortgages on the sale of a recent property, but declined to say av hat lie bad done Avith the money. The bankrupt refused to sign his evidence, and counsel for the creditors asked that steps bo taken to bring the bankrupt before the Supreme Court,
