A FATAL FIRE.

CHILD BURNED TO DEATH

A lire occurred in an eight-room-ed dwelling at Tokomaru yesterday morning, by which an eleven-month-old child, Arthur Harold Russell, Avas burned to death. The house was jointly occupied by Hie Warrington and Russell families, avLo carry on dairy operations. They left the house yesterday morning for the milking sheds as usual, leaving the child in the house. When the fire was discovered it had a good hold, and the family arrived too late to save the child. The origin of the fire is unknown.
