ELDERLY BIGAMISTS.
PARTIES COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. Christchurch, Yesterday. At the Police Court to-day, Margaret Mary M’Cracken was charged with committing bigamy with Charles Frederick Hansen, who was charged in turn with marrying M’Cracken knowing her to be already married. Both were elderly people. Alexander M’Cracken deposed that the woman was his wife. Accused were both committed for trial.
