PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Patriotic Shop was open last Saturday under the charge of Ales dames Joliu Robinson aiul Harvey, who did good business, and acknowledge gifts from the following:—Mesdames Wyeth, Hood, Wall, Moore, Woodfoofe, C. Robinson, Barr, McLeod, ifliynne, Preston, Jas. Robinson, Kellow, F. Brewer, Green, King, F. Robinson, A. Ross, A. S. Easton, Henriekson, Purcell, Gibbs, Rivers, Misses M. Collins, J. A. Ross, Jones, Speirs, Eileen Morgan, Messrs Rivers, John Robinson, V. Belly, and Chrystall The Nelson apples and lemons sold readily, and the guessing competition for the weight of a”sheep was'well patronised, the weight being G7J lbs, which was guessed by Mesdames Edwards and Preston, Messrs W. E. Burlier, Skellen and Jack Baker. On Saturday next Mesdames Alex. Ross and Procter will have elnnge, and a supply of Nelson apples will be on sale. , Ll.' .
