PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Patriotic Shop was opened Inst Saturday, under the charge of Mesdamcs Arthur Green and James Robinson, and good business was done. Gifts are acknowledged from Mosda'raes Jas.- Robinson, Rivers, Woodroofe, Admore, Perreau, Jennings, A .Ross, Speirs, Barr, Hawke, John Robinson, Harvey, King, Chas. Robinson, Rough, Renton, A. S. Harper, Kellow, M. H. Walker, Gibbs, Healey, F. de Bidder, Jas. Stevenson, Boyden, and Mesdames Murdoch, Seadden, Jeffries, Campbell, and Mohekey, of Maroliri, Miss J. A. Ross, Alossrs Stanley Thompson, Chung Wah, Betty, Walsh, Henderson, Purcell and Green. Four competitors guessed the weight of the sheep —574 lbs. —and divided the spoil. The amount of money in the cake was one halfpenny, and Mrs Seville and Mrs Griffin were the Manners. Ko. 23 Avon the cushion, and Miss N. Robinson avus the winner. Next Saturday Mrs Baker and Miss Speirs Avill have charge.
