FOXTON’S RAINFALL.

Mr. A. Hawke has supplied us with the following details of the rainfall locally: —During the month of August rain fell on 12 days, the maximum fall being on the 13th, when .78 of an inch was registered. The total for the month was 2.94 inches, compared with 3.92 inches in August, 1910. The total fall for the eight-mon-ths of this year has been 20.17 inches, compared with 19.57 for the first cightjnonths of 1910.
