OBITUARY.
s> MRS T. IIENUEK,SOX—AGED 57 . YEAKS. Airs Christina Henderson, wife of Cr." T. Henderson, passed suddenly away on Sunday evening', aged 57 years. The deceased appeared in her usual health on Sunday afternoon, and made no complaint of feeling unwell. She visited her granddaughter, and on returning; complained of feeling unwell. Her husband assisted her to the bedroom, and upon deceased being placed upon the bed she expired. The late Airs Henderson was the daughter of Air W. H. Valentine, of Slopdown, Southland, who still survives her. Mrs Henderson is survived by a family of three daughters and throe sons, viz., Airs Wilbers (Carterton), Mrs Heere Mossburn (Southland), Airs Cunningham, Messrs Thomas (Raetihi), William (Ranrimu), and Robert (invarcarg'ill), besides a number of grandehildren. The deceased, prior to going into business with her daughter, was well-known as a maternity nurse. To her husband and family, in eommon with , the Foxton public, we extend our deepest sympathy. An impiest was held touching’ the death of Airs Henderson, before Air Alt. Fraser, coroner, at the Court House yesterday afternoon. Evidence was given by Air T. Henderson and Dr. Bryson, who performed a posl mortem examination. The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence, i,0.,-that death was due to syncope, due to fatty degeneration of the heart. The interment will take place in the Palmerston cemetery on Wednesday.
