We are asked to cultivate vegetable gardens, but to put it mildly, it is very annoying to lind (hat some one's cow has trampled over the plot during the night. I have repeatedly seen a cow on the road not a quarter of a mile from (he ranger's house, and when opportunity oilers this clever animal takes its lili of succulent grass in piivale proper!ies.
